JC polyomavirus antibody testing for PML risk assessment

HUS Diagnostic Center in Helsinki, Finland, offers JCV antibody testing to all patient groups with no restriction regarding background disease or medication. A positive test result indicates past JCV infection, presence of JCV in the body and the possibility of virus reactivation.

A positive test result is accompanied by an index value indicating serum antibody level. High antibody index value may imply an increased risk of PML.

HUS Diagnostic Center at Helsinki University Hospital, Helsinki, Finland is an accredited testing laboratory (SFS-EN ISO 15189:2022).
